Family Vacation in Costa Rica, the Why

Given that Costa Rica is it isn’t even half the size of Cuba —  its roughly one-fifth the size of Colorado, — it is possible to see a large portion of the country in a week or less. It’s six hours from coast to coast. Furthermore, Costa Rica is the safest country in Central America. In fact, along with Chili and Uruguay, Costa Rica is ranked the safest country in Latin America.

Most important, the entire country is geared toward eco tourism. On one hand, the geography is suited exceptionally for people in their twilight years who prefer a leisure eco-adventure tour. There are enough beaches, mountain resorts, and exertion-free activities to satisfy even the most active seniors for a lifetime. Have kids under the age of 14? There is even more to do for them.

Family Vacation Costa Rica, the When

The when isn’t as important as the where. That is to say, Costa Rica’s four different climate zones each have their own sweet spots. Regardless of what you want to do, you can do it somewhere in Costa Rica at any given time.
